SustAInLivWork is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in Lithuania, specialising in the development and deployment of advanced research and innovation (R&I) solutions based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to promote sustainable living and working.

Explainable AI

We have ambitions to develop Explained Artificial Intelligence (XAI) to increase the transparency and explainability of AI systems by providing explanations of their decisions and actions, so that people can understand the reasons behind AI results and ensure that AI-driven decisions are trustworthy.

Sustainable AI

Our goal is to develop sustainable AI systems that are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, taking into account the long-term impact of AI technologies on the planet and society.

We aim to ensure that AI systems are developed and deployed in accordance with ethical principles and values, taking into account the ethical implications of AI technologies and ensuring that they are consistent with human values, rights and societal norms.

Enhance Lithuania’s capabilities in AI solutions to achieve sustainability goals, developing and promoting the uptake of advanced AI technologies and sustainability strategies of advanced partners across Lithuania, the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.

SustAInLivWork is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Sustainable Living and Working (SustAInLivWork) based in Lithuania, based on the collaboration of key national partners (KTU, VILNIUS TECH, VDU, LSMU) and innovative international partners (TAU, TUHH).

Intelligent systems modeling environments, business analytics tools, physical and virtual AI labs for external organizations, providing opportunities to test and try a variety of business scenarios.

Data analysis

Development, maintenance, support, and application of data storage infrastructure to meet the specific needs of AI solutions.

Practical training and education

Value-added traingin and courses incorporating good practices on how to integrate AI solutions while ensuring sustainability in the private/public sector by promoting a sustainable living, working concept, and creating an AI ecosystem.

New generation of intelligent solutions

Personalized explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) based systems thus increasing transparency, trust, ethics, and trust in AI-based solutions.

Development and evaluation of systems

Implementation, evaluation, and testing of AI solutions under both laboratory and real conditions.

Patents

New AI-based patents that ensure the high-quality operation, transparency, sustainability, and ethics of intelligent solutions.
