Kaunas University of Technology together with partners invite to participate at the opening event of the SustAInLivWork project. The opening event AI for Sustainable Future will take place on 14 September, 2023, at 9 a.m. at KTU Santaka Valley (K. Baršausko str. 59, Kaunas).
KTU with Lithuanian (Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vytautas Magnus University and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences) and international partners (University of Tampere, Finland, and Hamburg University of Technology, Germany) will start implementing the project on 1 September of this year. The SustAInLivWork project is a “Teaming for Excellence” measure of the EU research and innovation programme “European Horizon”.
The project aims to create a joint Centre of Excellence of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Living and Working in Lithuania, which would act as a lighthouse making a significant impact on strengthening the research and innovation ecosystem nationally and internationally.
During the event, project coordinators, partners and honoured guests will share insights, future forecasts and discuss what benefits and opportunities artificial intelligence can provide in the key sectors of the state – medicine, transport, industry and energy – in response to the main sustainability goals.
The event will be held in English.
